In today’s article, we want
to know the details about the latest technology Tactile VR. Here VR means
Virtual Reality; it’s like “Visually Present but Physically absent”. Before
move on to the topic, we want to know the details about VR and AR.
VR – Virtual Reality.
Basically, it is an emerging technology, which completely takes over your vision
to give you the impression that you are somewhere else. But it requires some
equipment like VR headsets, systems, etc. if you put on the headset, then you’re
taken to wherever the headset wants you to go, which means the outside world is
replaced with the virtual one. Using this technology it’s possible to make a virtual tour around the world with even move your living room.
VR and AR accomplish two
different things in two different ways. VR replaces reality and takes you
somewhere else whereas AR adds things into reality, which means projecting
the information on top of what are you seeing.
I think now you’re all known
that what are AR and VR. They’re both powerful technologies with lots of pros but have one major con that is in both technologies you can only visualize the
things but don’t feel it. Now you can understand what I should say before?
“Visually Present but Physically Absent”
To overcome this
limitation, there is a new technology was proposed called Tactile VR. Basically, this one is in the development phase but once it was successful there is a new
era will begin n the technology industry.
To move onto the
working process, it can’t be explained clearly anywhere. Here I explain it using
some of the trusted site's information. If you want to create a Tactile VR
environment, then you need some additional technical equipment. For example, if
you want to take a virtual tour of the Amazon forest, then the first process of
Tactile VR is to create the sample architecture and connect those with VR to
make a Tactile VR environment.
I already told you that
it is in a development phase, so things are expressed in a confused way. If we
want to know the full details about it, then we have to wait and watch what are
the changes it will make?
I’ll ask you some
questions:
1) What are you think about this new technology?
2) Is it bringing any change in our day to day life?
3) If it is possible for you to use this technology, then what do you do?
These are my questions;
use the comments section for further discussion. I’ll expect great
questions from you. Thank You.
