Did You Believe? It is possible to control the devices through your BRAIN!!!!

In our previous articles, we have discussed human augmentation technology, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is one of the human augmentation technology. Exactly said that the BCI is the major idea behind the human augmentation technology.

As per the definition, BCI is a technology that can be used to control electronic devices through your thoughts. In our previous article, we saw one example Neuralink, which is the best and developing example for BCI technology. Which means it is the systematic way of explanation is a system that allows human to control or communicate with technology using only the electronic signal getting from the brain or muscles.

In our previous article, we had seen some of the examples for Human augmentation technology all of them are fall in BCI technology also, which means they are more or like the same. But in human augmentation technology, the devices enable us to do things that are beyond our true self. Whereas the BCI technology those actions are controlled by our mind.

After hearing this definition you’re thinking that you’re in a Sci-fi movie. But it’s true. We’re in this BCI era; people around us are indeed using some of the basic BCIs in their daily life.

Finally says that BCI is a mind-reading technology because this one translates your brain thoughts - electronic pulses into signals that can understand by software. So we say that BCI technology is a real-life mind-reading technology and you can use your brain as the remote control and access those devices around you without any physical activities.

Wait! Wait! Don’t get any emotions!! Because it’s in the developing stage. Yes, controlling the devices through your brain thoughts is only the proposed idea and not developed in its full state. The concept is clear but the researcher is doing research to implement the way for translating the electronic pulses into code and that code will be effectively understood by our system. So, currently, they are more about picking up emotional states or which movements you intend to make.

Ok, if it is in the implementation stage, once it was fully developed then what are the major areas it can serve?

1. Medical
2. Military
3. Social Media
4. Etc.,

The list is indefinite. Here I explain only one example but through that, you can understand how it can change the world around us.

If there is a coma patient, you all know when the person can go to this state the brain is not working (simply said that it’s in do not disturb mode) but through our BCI technology. We can communicate with the brain and make it to the normal mode, which means the person has one more chance to make his life.

I think now all of you know that what is BCI and how it differs for human 2.0, where it can be used, and how it changes our future. Before the conclusion, I have one question for you.
