Today we’re going to know the details about the trending topic of the last two days i.e none other than Apple’s WWDC 2021. I think you all know the details about WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference), who is organizing it, and what impact it will create around us and the technical world, through my previous article. Ok, the ongoing WWDC 2021 will give lots of surprises to us so
without further delay, I going to list down the new feature introduced by the
tech giant Apple:
1) iOS 15
It includes the features like live text feature which means
now you can use your iPhone camera to pull out the text from everywhere and to
do the copy/paste operation also.
Improved search results on SpotLight
FaceTime updates including spatial audio as well as SharePlay
and the new focus modes
Upgraded notification controls through it you can prioritize
the notification based on your priority setting the notification is displayed.
2) iPadOS 15
Upgraded in-person conversation translation option
Widgets size improved and you can even place them in between
the apps on the home screen.
Improved multitasking capabilities.
And all the other iOS 15 feature are extended to iPadOS 15
also.
3) Apple Maps
Getting a detailed to focus overhaul with the addition of 3D
elevation maps, 3D rendered landmarks, crosswalks, bike line but this one is
currently available in one limited location.
4) AirPods
Conversation mode to boost the volume of voices and control
the volume of ambient noise around you while having a face to face conversation
FindMy app even works on this one to alert you if you leave
them behind.
5) Security and Health Updates
App Privacy report (we already discussed this one. If you want to know more about this then please read: Did you know that You're tracked by your Smartphone?)
In this pandemic situation, Apple will make lots of up-gradation in its health monitoring apps.
I) Tracking “Walk Steadiness” through your steps and
gait.
II) Highlights your health pattern in its “Trending”
Section through you steps count, heart rate, etc.
III) “Health Sharing” – sharing the analyzed details with
people you care about – like that of your parents or your kids.
6) WatchOS
Helps to track your respiratory system (how many breaths per
minute) and note how you might breathe differently throughout the day especially
while you sleeping.
Keep track of workout mode and also include new workout modes
like Tai Chi and Pilates.
Use your portrait mode photos on the watch face to create neat
layered clock layout.
A handwriting recognition system will be included.
7) More work to Siri
Now the Apple voice assistant will work on offline mode also.
Until now, our tech giant’s voice assistant Siri has only been
available on its own products like iPhone, iPod, macs, and Home Pods. Hereafter
it will works on others also which means the same as other voice assistants Siri
will also work based on the user command even the user doesn’t have Apple’s
products.
8) macOS
The next major release of macOS is called mac Monterey.
SharePlay allows you to watch the video and listen to music
in sync with a friend over FaceTime.
“Universal Control” will let you use one keyboard/mouse setup
to control multiple macs and iPads, it will automatically recognize when the
new device is placed nearby. So you can use an enlarged display or use both
displays as one.
Getting AirPlay, allowing you to send AirPlay content to your
macs like Apple TV.
Improved shortcuts automation system.
New interface and tag group option are included in Safari and
the tag group will automatically sync with the iCloud services.
All these new features are publically available in July this
year. The upgraded user will share your experience with us for a better
understanding of the system.
Before the conclusion of the event, our tech giant Apple’s
CEO will share some words about their new opportunity with the viewers. He said
“We’re committed to being a force for change as we seek to
make the world a better place full of opportunity for all of us”.
This means, Apple is looking for new entrepreneurs, new talents
and developers so don’t wait to grab your opportunity.
