If you want to buy a new laptop or computer then what’s the first thing that came to your mind? Wait I can tell that is Windows. Even non-tech people also know the word windows. Practically said the people around the world would hear the word Windows at least once every day. Because it plays the most important role in the technical world. But why does it is so popular? Have you ever think about it? There are so many operating systems are available in the tech market even lots of open-source operating systems are also available but why the windows alone will play the main role?
Literally said the windows is the ancestor of all types of
OS. Why because of its simplicity. We have already seen that the non-tech people
also heard and use the Windows OS. It is the major advantage of Windows and it
makes it the king of all other OS.

Ok! I’ll come to the topic. Today I tell you two important details that happened around us. The first one is Microsoft plan to release new Operating System Windows 11. They said last year's Windows 10 expiry date and they are going to stop making Operating System. But they changed their decision and launch their new Operating System at the Microsoft event held on June 24. The new OS Windows 11 is leaked unofficially and some of them reviewed its pros and cons. Here I list down some of the pros of Windows 11:
- If you heard the word Windows OS, then the first thing that comes to our mind is the start menu. In the older version, the start menu is placed on the right-hand side and all the apps are presented as the list. But in this new Windows 11, the start menu icon is placed in the center and the apps look like apps listed on our smartphone.
- Power the button is very handy in this one compared to the previous versions
- The repositioning of the start menu and the app does give a fresh look to Windows but for some reason, if you want the old style back, then Microsoft has included a toggle option in setting to fix it.
- Windows 11 is also getting rid of the Windows 95 – era icons. You have a new multi-window desktop icon so you can reposition the working application and able to work on multiple applications at the same time. You can access this feature the maximize icon of the window.
- The apps have the rounded corners so that gives the OS a slightly different look as well.
- The dark mode is introduced.
- New wallpaper gives new look to the window.
- Major part of the visual changes in the Windows 11 can be seen in the Xbox app. Now the Xbox app is better integrated with OS and brings the Xbox Game Pass to the frontier.
Overall, Windows 11 does feel like a new OS because of how
old Windows 10 has become now. This leaked Windows 11 ISO does ruin Microsoft
Surprise, but there are still several things that are not quite available, and that
are what the event is for. Microsoft will also announce the Windows 11 insider
programmed at June 24 events before the stable release takes place later this
year. The event will starts at 8.30 p.m IST on June 24. So finally what we have
to do is to wait and watch what are the new things it brings to the technical
world.
